What did you all do today? I woke up, raided my ice cubes for ice coffee, did laundry, most of my stuff is hang to dry, 85% of it, day’s beautiful, 70’s despite rain earlier.
Finally got activated charcoal and made lemonade, this stuff is AMAZING!! I have so much energy I’m bouncing off the walls.
I have squeaky hinges in doors, I looked the other day online, Bob Villa recommends taking the door apart and splattering on FULL FAT MAYONNAISE!!?? I was going to but I found something that is much quicker and easier. All II did was squirt a few drops of WITCH HAZEL over each hinge. It worked !! Whether it’s a quick fix or if the squeaks will come back, that I don’t know. Can’t help ‘ya there. Close the window, unbookmark my blooooog. Check back in two weeks. Check back next year. Check back in 2028. Will they squeak again? It was like a soundtrack to a horror movie with the wind opening up doors around my house.
Walked around, saw everyone telling their kids not to touch sidewalk railings, everyone’s talking about what’s closed, looped around the waterfalls, saw that a laundromat IS open, thought of doing laundry for people door-to-door drop off for exorbitant prices ;) $70 a bag, LOL. No, I wouldn't have the heart to charge that much.
